scanning disks on W2K

how do i check the disks for errors in W2k?
there is no scandisk anymore.

click on my computer. right click on the drive you want to scan. select properties. then select tools. it is right there. hope this helps.

it will not scan then but at the medt reboot, jsut let it run its course, and DO NOT ever reboot while doing do i did and lost 56 gigs of data, is was not pretty
