I just bouhgt A GeForce 2 GTS pro.
And now I want to O/C it and don't know how to do.
I have stock cooling but I have a waterblock for it.
Please help me to get better results in 3dmark2000.
Now it is 7020

The easiest and i found best way to oc the card is by going into your control panel, then display, settings, advanced. Click on the tab at the top that has your card's name. Go to additional properties then clock frequencies. Click allow clock frequency adjustments. It'll ask you to restart. After rebooting go back there and you can adjust the frequencies. After you set the new frequencies it forces you to test the new settings before continuing. This is NOT a good test you'll need a lot better testing to really make sure it's stable. After all that be sure that the "Apply these settings at startup" is checked. Make sure you atleast have the latest official drivers. Take it like a normal oc. Don't go up too far too fast. Take it slowly testing between each setting. If this doesn't work you can dl a program called powerpoint or riva tuner.

I can't get it to work, I run WinXP if it matters.
I found some prog. "coolbits" but Some .dll is missing.

What drivers are you running and where did you get them?

use nvmax, i find it easier than coolbits because i dont have to open as many windows.....you have a good card there i can get mine up to 230/465 without locking up (but with artifacts)....i need to find a way to increase Vio voltage on a p3v4x

just for the record at 230/460 i get 3290 3dmarks, at efault i get like 3000......

both nvmax and coolbits work for me with the 22.50 drivers and winXP.......just redownload coolbits and make sure its the win2k version......i would suggest nvmax because it allows you to tweak other stuff to.....and i got it from www.dangerousdog.com where they have a little exe file optimized for 3dmark2k1(i think you need nvmax for it to work) and it gains me like 50 poitns....

I am now using Nvmax and it is now 240/390.
If I go any higherin core it will hangup and if I go higher mem. I will get small spots.
Current number in 3dmark2001 is 4141.
There is alot of things in the bios for AGP and men but it is in HEX-value and I don't get it.

Hmmm....sounds like you only have GTS and not a pro....because if you had a pro you would be underclocking it....

Well the box it came in says pro.
what are the default values for your pro?
My Nvmax Has default for this card core 200, mem 365

all pros should be 200/400...on your ram chips does it say anywhere -5T?

No I don't see (-5T) on the box.
Have I been ripped off or is Nvmax setting the mem too low by default?

some geforce 2 pros have 200/400 some hace 200/366
(is a geforce2 pro faster dan a gts? some people say its just a tweaked mx)

Ok if your card is in fact a Pro then look on the ram chips on the video card they should say Elite MT -5T, if they say -5.5T or -6T you have been ripped off......Pros are faster than any geforce2s excepting the Ultra......

There should be 4 or 8 little chips on the video card they are black, on top of those chips is where you look.....

The ram should be around your chip and you shouldn't go too high without getting ramsinks and a good cooler.

Well the card has the text cgts2 ver 1.0 pro 64M
and the rams has "lots of numbers and QC55".
is this a gts2 or isn't it?

BTW I have a waterblock for the GPU waiting to be installed but nothing for the RAM.

well "scan all those numbers" and see if it says -5T or -5.5T or 50ns or 55ns.....also where did you buy it from?

The box says pro and the card says pro.
