Would it help to put a heatsink on the waterblock to additionally cool it? Im also new to this and just realized a few things about water cooling. Water evaporates!! so does alcohol! so do i have to add water to the system or clean it out when it get dirty? Sorry if i sound very noobish but i dont feel like messing up my new water cooled system.

well, the thing is about evaporation and such, is that you should have a closed, sealed system. unless you have a leak, you will not evaporate. plus, if you have water wetter or antifreeze in your water, you should not have to clean it.

Mounting a HSF on your waterblock probably wouldn't help unless your pump fails or you're trying to cool your ambient case air.
I've got a temp sensor taped to the top of my waterblock, and it always stays at least 5 - 6C below the ambient case temperature. Adding a HSF would just transfer heat from the air to the waterblock to your coolant.
If your pump fails, however, a HSF on your waterblock just might save your processor from cooking itself.
