C:\FDISK.
There is no way to do that without reformating that I know of though.

You can...you just have to use Partition Magic to so it (or another program that I haven't ever heard of that does it).

Partition magic can create logical paritions on the fly without needing to format.

Run a quick scandisk to make sure your file system is in good shape then let her rip.

Other than that, you can use Fdisk if you're going to reformat the drive.

Create and extended partition then logical partitions inside that.

Then you'll have your D:

boot up with a 98 boot disk, when it goe sto a: type fdisk

then there will be a DOS menu, delete all partitons with the [3]-and depending on what type of partitons they are just choose ir from the following menu. Once all partitons are gone and drive is clean, ull need to set a boot partitons(the operating system).

2gigs is all u might need. So then go to main menu and choose [1] to set PRIMARY DOS partiton, it will check disk integrity and, then u choose size in mb(2000 mb)make partiton. Then once the boot partiton is made, go to main menu again and choose [2] to make EXT DOS partitoin. Use ALL the remaining space for the EXT DOS partiton. it will agian test integrity.

Afterwards you should a 2000 mb partiton names PRIMARY DOS
and a xxxxxx mb partition names EXT DOS. then go to main menu and choose [2] to set active partiton, choose the smaller partiton to make active and that is what u will boot from. After that just reboot with the OS software in the PC, and install it on, the smaller (2000mb -2gig) partiton. then all will be well, and when u bot into windows just right clik on the D: drive and format it then it can be used for storage. HOPE THAT HELPS

i absolutely agree with thelemac and theflycore: use partition magic. it's easy to use and perfectly reliable.
