Measuring vcore....

After much googling, I found a pic of a nf7-s with the read points marked out. So, in order to read the vcore, will I need to put one wire of the multi meter on the pin shown, then the other wire to a ground?

yup, the negative probe to a ground. could be in a molex, or you could stick it in the backside of a ground wire on the atx plug. also, the legs of the inductor (big wire coil type things ) should be the same voltage and therefore a usable test point.
