Just get a new 1.2G AYHJA (9) and some new OCZ PC150 and started benching the CPU.
My KK266 has been solid for 1 year and have ran many CPUs through its course. I just pulled my AVIA and PC133 out, and in with the new "toys".
First, the PC150 is pretty cool .... all the way up the 158. My problem is with the new AYHJA 1.2G. Like most 1.2G 266 T-birds, this came "UNLOCKED". The CPU steps just fine on the FSB to 156. But when I start to set the multipier from "auto", everything starts getting very strange.
1) first I lose the Iwill Smart Setting function, in otherwords it does not resort back to the default settings, when I have problen posting/booting. Forcing me to reset CMOS by jumper.
2) The multplier setting don't work or does not boot. The set FSB and Multiplier posts at a lower number or does not post at all.
3) Even low settings don't work, (133 @ 9) won't post !
Key Jumpers settings: Bus@133, VIO +10%,
Any suggestions? I was hoping this combo would do 1.6+. Is it my CPU or mobo.
