DRM update in windows XP

If you read it carefully it's for portable players that uses media which is protected by Microsoft DRM. I think this means it will enable portable players to play protected content say if you rip audio CD's and enabled WMP10 to protect them it'll play them.

I don’t know about Vista - but if it specifically BLOCKS mp3's, I will officially ban it from my machines. I'll still have XP - so I'll be fine. Microsoft will be supporting XP Security Updates until beyond 2010 FWIW... No worries here. I hate WMA :)

If that's the case I'll use XP to be honest I probably will stay with XP cause this system is just right for me a new PSU and a better video card as my 6200 I upgraded from the dreaded FX5200. Is all I need now I don't OC well I did but after say 3 months of stable speed it then caused some strange problem to my PC.

I had to format but 1.84ghz suits me just fine better than my last PC 350mhz ha ha ha.
