Is it OK to use a Storm on Athlon 64 X2? I purchased the Apex kit along with MCW55. After reading about experiences with the Apogee, I also purchased a Storm. I would rather use the Storm but just wondering about which is better for a dual-core cpu?
Any X2/Storm users?
BTW, I took the Apogee apart to check for shavings and/or bent pins but found neither.

Well I own an X2 and I to be honest, I don't think it would really make a difference if you were using single core or dual core especially with AMD. I've had many people reccomend the Storm to me saying that's the best water block available. For me, I'm just going with the Danger Den TDX because it is still a quality block and will only cost me 33 bucks through a deal on Danger Den's website.
The storm is a more effective block than the Apogee so you'll definately be better off. Cooling isn't such a concern with AMD, now if you were talking about Dual Core Intel's well that'd just be a different story.

Storm is a better block, hands down, especially if you overclock. If you don't oveclock, then the Apogee is decent. Since you have both i would go for the Storm and just sell the Apogee.

uh why ask this question if you already know the answer. you already bought the storm, and you bought it for a reason...

I don't own an Apogee so I can't say, but the Storm rocks on my X2.
