You need to figure out what motherboard you have and whether or not it has adjustable FSB (front side bus) settings. The FSB default setting is 133 is your situation. Your multiplier is locked at 6.5X so you can't change it.

Can you change the FSB anymore? Think you reached the limit..

You're running your CPU at 2.5? And it hasn't smoked? :D I wouldn't try bumping the voltage higher. I would lower it.

And if your motherboard will only allow up to a 150 FSB, you're probably at the end, unless you could use a software FSB adjustment utility. These must supprt your clock generator for you to be able to get any use out of it, though. Still, 150 FSB ain't too shabby.

HOLY GUANO! Quick, lower the voltage. That's way too high. Why would you raise the voltage that much??? Voltage is raised ONLY to help stability. I'd limit the top voltage to about 2.0v and even at that much, only if your temps are running cool. Whoever told you that a coppermine P-III could handle 4.5v is insane. If your motherboard tops out at 150 FSB, then you're running at maximum overclock. That's all there is and there ain't no more unless you get a new motherboard.

Dont kill your chip.. 2.5V what are ya nuts!!!!
2 is the max overclockers use..

Basically when you overclock you overclock everything .. at a new speed..

Scoobz,

Yodums said it right. when you increase the FSB, the system RAM overclocks as well. This is automatic. If you run the FSB at 140, your RAM will run 140mhz bus speed. If you run it at 150, then 150mhz bus speed.
