I am running my peltierized CPU circuit 100% on copper and the GFX card 100% on aluminium (Senfu waterblock and DangerDen DropRinse radiator). This works absolutely fine since the Senfu block is enough for keeping the GPU cold.

Well, the machine is heavily overclocked and I am getting Northbridge Temps of 45°C even though the NB is actively cooled by some 40mm CPU cooler and got ASII on it. I'm definitely not satisfied with that, so I wanna know:

Are there *any* 40mm ALUMINIUM waterblocks out there except the Senfu. I want to put the NB in the GFX Card circuit, since the CPU water is warmer than the GPU water (156 Watt Peltier...) and I don't want to add more flow resistance by placing a 2nd 4mm hosing Senfu block.

becooling has one. www.aquastealth.com

see if that is what you need.

are you sure it has to be 40mm, there is useally room around the chipset

Yeah, something in Senfu size (42mm or so) is needed, otherwise it gets tricky to clamp it down plus I got no space for a 50mm waterblock, due to the thick neoprene insulation of my Maze 2-2 waterblock that is right above the northbridge on my A7V133.

Thanks for the link. Too bad the chipset waterjacket is made of copper and the GPU cooler is 2x2" = 50x50mm.

yeah, its 2", which is ~50mm. sorry.

are you SURE you need aluminum, thre are a fwe i can think of that are copper that may work.

I've found another solution.

I ordered a 76W 40x40mm Peltier and a *copper* Northbridge waterblock. I will run the NB cooling in my CPU circuit.
Shouldn't be a problem since my 2 heavily charged radiators (2 x Delta 80*38mm on the modded Senfu Dual + 4 x Delta 60*38mm on the Zern serverradiator) in that circuit keep the water only a few degrees above ambient (not so bad for an overclocked TBird + 156 W Peltier).

Just afraid I need a stronger pump. The Eheim 1048 is not doing much of a flow with all that stuff built in :/ The Maze 2-2 waterblock is feelable warmer than the water.

wtf do you want aluminum for???? copper is more effective
