Congrats! What kind of temps are you getting?

I'm on a temp kick right now... My mobo reports the same temps whether I'm at stock voltage and speed vs. overclocked... Only time that I've seen the temps lower is when I ran the system at 667MHz (66MHz FSB).

I'm thinking about cutting a hole in the case's motherboard tray (exposing the bottom PCB), under where the CPU is, and trying a fan there.

I've got a fan blowing in from the back of the case, over the intake fan of the SK-6, and another fan blowing out at the front of the case, so there should be nice, room temp air for the SK-6 to swallow. (the intake and outtake fans are in-line with the heatsink fan in the middle of the two.)

Maybe my mobo just reports wrong. Wish I had another socket370 board to try.

Anyhow, auky, glad to see you're finally getting some luck!

I wouldn't have went through this work if you didn't have some sweet benchies to post.

WHOA man, you saved those files as 500kb .bmp 's man. Save them as a compressed .jpg file and save us somebandwith:D Geocities doesn't host pics anymore. Actually for about 9 months now.

Brinkster doesn't allow direct linking either. Normally your ISP will give you a few meg to play with. Use that if they do - it don't cost anything and you're paying for it.

Damn, those load temps are only 2C higher than what my mobo is reporting as idle... my sensors have to be screwy... Even at 1.4GHz, my idle temps are the same. (I'm leary to stress the CPU at that speed/voltage because I just don't know...) I should just buy another CPU for testing sakes...

I wonder if my slot1 with slocket will display temps... It's been so long since I used it, I can't remember (Soyo 6VCA).

If you don't post porn and abuse it I believe this place may be around for awhile. Use it wisely though.

guys..i have to pull my vcore to 2.00v to run a stable 1350mhz and my max temp is 42C..is that reasonable???? thx:(

auky, hi

Nice OC! Congrats..

Do u mind me asking how u actually post the pic in this forum? Instead of using the other web servers, have you tried to just upload your pic directly through our Overclockers' forum? If you already have done this so, cancel what I said. but if you have not, then just take your image file( jpg., gif., png., etc.) and upload it here by clicking "Attach file:" at the bottom when u create a thread or reply to a thread. Like I said, nevermind if you already know this.

Ol'man, is that pic you posted is auky's pic?.. yeah looks like you did it already. Strange.. if auky passed the CPU burn-in test 301 times looped with the max temp of 37C at 1360 or 1370mhz but not stable now and he says he needs to up the voltage to 2.0V at 1350.. hmm... auky, did you set the CPU burn-in test at less than 100% cpu load utilization in the Sandra burn-in wizard option? cauze mine always tested at 100% cpu utilization. just wondering..

auky
11-02-01, 09:54 AM
yes...it's set to 100% utilization...but i would get random freezing if the voltage is set below 2.00V...q3a, cpu-burn-in were ok..but not the chinese chess software i'm using...it's better then cpu-burn in..it stresses the cpu to it's max!!! if you want this software, just let me know.....Btw, if you havent already known my specs, i'll post it here...
