IE frequent crashes

Hi all,
Just wondering if anyone here has experienced something similar to what I have been experiencing lately. I primarily use FireFox for browsing, and I was going to try to check for Windows Updates today, and no matter how many times I tried to go there with IE, it crashed. IE crashed within a minute or two of starting. Is there a new hotfix or something? Also, if I can't get Windows updates with IE, how will I get them? Can I get them with FireFox?

try the new IE7 beta 2 that out.. see if that install helps .. or try a repair of IE 6 ..

i reccomend beta 2 though
