Right now I am running a PS/2 Keyboard with a USB Mouse. Do you guys think this would cause any conflicts on my system? Causing it to slow down?

Reason why I ask is because on one of my benchmarks was running slow, Until I removed the mouse from one USB port to another and the problem was fixed.

This leads me to believe maybe the USB ports or my motherboard in general doesn't like to mix and match the Human interface devices.

So I'm wondering if there is a tool in Windows that would show me what hardware is slowing down my system; if any.

That shouldn't be a problem. As far as I know, there is no tool that will tell you what is slowing you down. Of course, if there is actually a problem, whether driver or resource, the Device Manager will tell you.

Yea thats what I figured.

The problem all started with me increaseing the FSB and the benchmarks slowed down and I could'nt figure out why.

Then someone told me to check the USB ports maybe something attached is causing conflicts... so curious I switched the USB mouse to another USB port - Vuala! Fixed the problem.

This never showed up on Device Manager or anything.

Take a look at start-> programs -> accessories -> system tools -> system information, then select conflicts/sharing (this isn't necessarily a conflict, it could just mean sharing of resources). Also check problem devices and note the status some of the other catagories.
