Hey guys I have a favor to ask u. I am on a mission to build the sweetest computer ever. First here are some specs of the parts im getting:

1.53 ghz Athlon XP 1800
ABIT KG7-RAID Mobo
512 MB 2100DDR RAM from Corsair
lots of hard disks!(80gb seagate barracuda, 40gb western digital, and a 20gb seagate)
the latter two hard drives are from my old computer
Gainward Geforce3 Video Card
Sound Blaster LIVE!
and some other stuff...

BUT what i need help is with the cooling of the processor. I plan to make an incredible overclock to 2ghz or more. So far ive read that this is the best mobo for that. I have a water cooling system and have been contemplating other cooling solutions because that just wont work. I want to reach subzero temps for obvious reasons. PLZ make any suggestions that u can and also be as SPECIFIC as you can. From what i hear i can actually buy liquid nitrogen so if u have a plan or site that tells me how to do that without killing myself please tell me that too. THANK YOU IN ADVANCE! Once i have built the system i will take pics and show u the marvel that u have helped me build!

well, with liquid nitrogen, you will have to replenish it constantly.

the best way to go about this would be to use watercooling, but use COLD water. keep water RIGHT above freezing in a mini-fridge, then keep actual computer in a fridge too. this will help condensation too. this will keep all components really really cold.

there are no real supercooling solutions though that will be able to be used on a normal basis. you cant just cool it off to a certain point, and it will work. also, most cooling of that magnitude isnt reliable enough to use 24/7

k void any solutions involving liquid nitrogen. I also would prefer solutions that do not require a lot of space like a fridge on top. I was thinking peltiers or something like that. only problem is power supplies for a high powered peltier. Does anyone have a system with a peltier and an extra power supply thats in their case or not very big and clunky, if so plz give a suggestion or a guide. THX!

Well this isnt really about cooling but I would rethink the MoBo. Maybe something with the KT266A chipset will be a good alternative.

Vapochill comes to mind. That's what a lot of the highest overclockers use. It's expensive though. On the other hand it seems to be a reliable and proven design. Thought about that yet?

Keep us posted

im pretty sure im gonna use a 172w peltier but i dont know which power supply to use with it in addition to my 350w psu. im using the kg7 raid because i want the ddr ram which doesnt come with the kt266a

Build your own phase change setup like I did. It's more compact/portable than water cooling and putting the PC in a fridge. If you make a larger evap than I did, you can easily maintain subzero temps. (mine runs at 8.5C @ 1716Mhz full load)

didnt i say something about being specific? telling me that u made a phase change system doesnt help me if you dont tell me how or a place for me to find out how to make one.
