I am building a new PC and will be using the Epox EP-8K7A mobo and will be overclocking it quite a bit, probably into the low 160FSB range if possible:)

Is the extra $30 for a 256MB stick of Corsair 2400 CAS2 worth it over the basic Crucial 2100?

Is there something better than the Corsair 2400 out there right now I am not aware of?

I would like to keep the price under $100 for 256MB stick.

Thanks!

they just released or will be releasing PC2700 Ram - it is in this forum but don't remember exactly where I saw it.

I have the Epox 8K7A+ an with Crucial PC2100 256meg, I can run 174fsb cas2 with no problems. I have 2 sticks of Crucial an either one will run this speed an I have 1 stick of Corsair PC2400 an run 176fsb. For the 30.00 an free shipping buy the Crucial an 160 should be no problem if the rest of your system can handle it.

OK Thanks I will probably stick with 2100 unless I can find some of that 2700 stuff by the time I buy it, which will be in a few weeks.
