Just a heads up to those who are interested, this is a TV so it has a relatively low res (1280x720).
I use it only as my computer monitor, and I can tell you this thing is awesome. I play bf2, half-life 2, need for speed mw and Its just so awesome graphic wise. NO ghosting noted. I use it with dvi. Oh and its very big, took some time getting used to it, text on desktop and webpages are very crisp. I would recommend this to anyone not looking for high resolution games above 1280x720 which imo just looks just as good.
LOL! Today Newegg dropped the price $5, but raised shipping $5. What a deal!

Is this worth getting. I have been wanting to relace my 19" LCD with something bigger, but don't know if I want something this big. I watch a lot of DVD's and TV from my computer, so I am thinking that this may be a good investment. Anything close to this size at a lower price?

Any good Dell coupons to get the price down? The 24 inch is 846.00

HAHA, I just posted in the Gateway thread about this monitor. I have had one for almost a year and LOVE IT!!!! It sites back about three feet from my eyes and is great. I picked mine up at Fry's the day it opened and they sold me an open box one for 599.00. Open box for 6 hours, sure. I went back a couple of weekends ago and it is now over a grand. After you use this monitor you will not want to go back to anything smaller, not even a 21 inch LCD that does 1650X1050!

If I gave you a choice between this monitor and a 24" widescreen Dell what would you pick?
What do you do mostly on your system? Do you game, watch movies, TV etc?
if watching your movies is your thing this is better than the dell
and to op you forgot./... FREE RICE COOKER

To be honest I have never seen the Dell in person. This monitor fits with my desk though and it would be hard for me to go to a smaller monitor. Before I used two 21 inch CRT's and they were a bit closer to my eyes, the LCD makes it so I can move the viewing screen back. Currently the screen is about 3 feet from my eyes which is good since I am on a computer 12-16 hours a day.
I game, mostly BF II but some CS:S. I also writein Word and surf the web all day long.
