few install questions about 775 socket, and mb connections

im installing the rig in my sig, and when i put the cpu in, it was a little difficult to close the latch. also, the chassis fan has a 4 pin connector for it, but the big typhoon has 3? what do i do about this? just trying to get it hooked up, GPU and HD dont come until tomorrow morning.

the cpu goes in only one way (there's two indents) it'll be hard to press closed because it's putting pressure on it. the three pin goes in the 4 pin fine, the extra pin is just rpm monitoring or whatever, the stock heatsinks are four pin. that'll only plug in one way :p

also, im looking in the manual for ddr2 support, and i dont see the G.skill i have... will it work anyways? anyone running it?

should work fine. if i ever had a manual that included g.skill i'd be shocked ;)

ok good deal. cant wait to get the hd and gpu tomorrow morning. water cooling coming in about 3 weeks.
