Hi, could someone please tell me what the difference is between these 2 cpu's is manu pt # BX80547PG3000F and BX80547PG3000FT both P4 630 series 3 gig but different prices etc may thanks.

How large is the price difference / in which shops are you looking? Those should be the same CPU's.

Three variants there..

93 pound = OEM version, no heatsink
96 pound = retail, with heatsink

The only difference i can find there is that the more expensive one (113 pound) has 'BTX' in the product name, which probably means that it has a BTX optimised heatsink. (airflow / fin direction)

You're welcome. I didn't knew there was a BTX version myself untill i saw that page.

I have just found some info on that cpu and you are right BTX, glad I asked, Iam going to get an Asus p5ld2 deluxe with the 630, just need to sort out which memory, have an asus a8v-e-se at the moment, had an epox intel board before and I think I prefer the intel :p
