It's not a Danner Mag 3 or Mag5.

I'd say yes. I use a Mag 3 and love it. There are tons of threads and posts on it. There are several mods for it, but I use mine with no mods.

bah nvm, didnt see it was ac. i am looking for a friend and he is looking to spend less than 50 for a pump. i know nothing about cheaper pumps and that is why i was asking

Stay away from the CSP Mag pump... many many many failures.
