I was reading on another forum about lowering the vcore a little to reduce temps. My vcore according to Motherboard Monitor was at 1.8. so I lowered it one step down. Now I have 1.75. but now it says my cpu is running at 1390. I did not know that lowering the vcore would lower the clock speed. My second question has to do with temp readings. I thought the high MM reading was my processor, but when looking at the Sandra readout It says that the middle temp is my chip temp. So if you could help me clear this up it would be great. I am going to include a pic of MM and Sandra at load and Idle. Thanks in advance.

for correct settings, in temps use sensor1 with winbond 2, and sensor 2 with winbond 1. disregard other temps as there is only 2 temp chips on most boards, so if u use the same chip for 2 sensors it will jack stuff up. Then for each sensor just clikc on visual and rename accodingly. 39 is CPU, lower temp is board temp\system temp whatever u wanna call it

I have my Motherboard monitor set right I am asking about Sandra stating that the middle temp is my cpu. MM does not say which is which.

Edit: So the high temp is nothing?

the high temp is almost always your cpu

That is what I thought but look at what Sandra lists as my cpu.

Still confused about the vcore having an affect on my clock speed:rolleyes:

how did you get mbm5 to readout cpu %?

the new motherboard monitor version 5.10 shows CPU usage %, it is a field shown at default

as accurate as the theristor on your mobo anyway...

errr mbm5 has a bug...

the cpu% has a "1" after whatever u have for the name.. that bugs me... :(
