Well, eVGA just gave me a 6800GS to replace my faulty 6800ultra. It's not spectacular, but I managed to unlock an extra pixel pipe, no such luck with the vertex shaders though.
Should I stick with overclocking the 6800 or try my chances with the 7800. I'm also wondering about the waterblock/ram interference with the 7800 card. Looks like the 2 ram chips on the rear might be partially covered by the Maze 4. I'm using the OCZ ramsinks.
Thoughts?
