Has anyone besides me received a decrease in 3dmark2001 scores when using Windows XP. I had installed Win Xp full version yesterday after a format of my drive which used to have win98 on it. I was running the det 12.60 on win98 and so install them 1st on win xp. My scores were reduced on an average of 160 points. So then i installed the XP det. 21.83 drivers and scored even lower. This time the scores were averaging 190 points lower. So now today i FDISKed again with 2 partitions one for win98 (1000KB) and one for winXP (remainder of drive). Installed all drivers again on the XP version which i'm currently using but haven't switched over to win98 to finish that end yet. I'm having to much fun exploring this new OS for now and will get back to benchmarking later , actaully probably tomorrow.
