My pc was infected with spyware the name of which is AdwarePunisher it advertises itself as adware removal software,
It has taken over my background it gives me fake security alerts and when visting websites on IE it redirects me to a page to download the program.
I have run the malware cleaning programs specified in the sticky at the top of this page and the programs remove everything it finds,
A few minutes after i boot back in to windows it will just refresh the background and start the advertising again. I have run all the programs searched for files with the program name in question removed any entries and i still can get rid of it.

please help im desperate here

Thnx in advance

read this it seems they were able to remove it, or at least disable it http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=2237

this might help too. http://forums.spybot.info/showthread.php?t=2218

Might just want to browse through that forum they seem to have a lot of threads about your problem

MS antispyware, Spybot and adware. Run those and you should be able to kill any spyware problems, including stuff loading at startup. I've dealt with tons of spyware infected computers (personal record stands at 7734 spyware entries found) and i've always killed them with these three tools...im sure people will disagree but thats all you need IMHO

Spybot has an option that lets you run it as the first program in Windows before anything else starts up, this allows it to get most everything. Try that and let us know.
