Newbie to dual boots here......

I have the trial download for X64 and I want to have dual boot .
I already have XP Pro on my 2x36GB Raptors that I have in RAID 0.
So to install X64 onto my spare 74GB Raptor, I unplugged the 2 x36GB Raid Drives and installed the X64.
I then plugged the 2 x36gb Raid drives back in and now I dont see the dual boot choices of X64 & Xp-Pro.
I dont think I did it right.

any ideas how to fix?

plug the Raptors back in, you need all the drives plugged in.
Go to recovery console from the XP-64 CD.
type in "bootcfg /rebuild".

You are getting that problem because the bootloader that needed to be modified was on the 36GB drives and when you unplugged them, how are they to know that a new OS is installed?

I got into the recovery.
I typed in bootcfg /rebuild
Then it gives me some new options to type in
Where do I go now?

when asked for the load identifier, that is what you will see when presented with the options to select what OS to boot into. Type in what you want.

When asked for Enter Load OS options, type on /fastdetect.

OK....did what you said Know.....
Now I see my OS choices on the screen....XP Pro 32......and X64....I chose Windows XP Pro32...and it still booted into X64.
Is there a step Im missing ? Its like the computer doesnt know I have the XP Pro 32 on my 2x36GB Raid0 setup and X64 on the single 74GB drive.
