hey guys im new too all this overclocking and iv downloaded toast as iv read that its ment to stress test my cpu... now when i downloaded it all i got was a little flame icon, and i didnt even have to install awt.. i just click on this icon and then thats it.. and i only know its running because iv looked in task manager... does this sound right...
the reason im wanting to try and overclock my computer is cos im insterested in how it works, i built this comp from square one as iv done with all my computers but iv never messed with it in this kind of way (if you know what i mean)
this comp started out as a desktop and now its all in a tower... with 6x 8cm fans, 12 cm fan and an exhaust fan... its a 2.4gig prossesor with 1.4gig ram..
iv also used the following programs everest home edition, sisoft sandra oh and toast... but i dont really know what toast does......
sorry iv gone off topic abit but the main thing is what is toast all about and how do i stop it..... its been running now for about 1 hour my cpu is at 100% and my temp is at 29 c (84 f) and it aint moved......
is that good or not????
