I dug up this game for the PC last night, and I installed it, but whenever I play it, the game freezes up (Not my PC though). And once the screen froze but the cut scene audio was still running. I installed the newest patch, but all had failed. I even used a bug fix patch, but that didnt do much neither. Here are the specs I am running:
Intel 560J @ 3.6GHz
ASUS P5P800
1GB Kingston DDR400
Sapphire 9600PRO Atlantis
I tried using Catalyst 5.10, 5.13, and ATI Omega Drivers 6.1
Anybody here experience the same problem as me?
Thanks in advance for feedback.

How do you know it's not your PC? Tried going to stock clocks?

I'm pretty sure it's not my PC, because I don't have anything overclocked.

If you can get into the game options, try turning every setting to the minimum possible and see if that works If that is the case then you have system issues, with, RAM, GPU card, etc. Also do you have updated video driver and direct X?

Play it on the Xbox?
j/k, it was bugg as hell for me until I patched it, but you did that, so who knows, but its likely an old driver or some setting.
I run it perfectly on the rig in my sig. Even before with my 3700+ SD @ 300x9 & 6800GT. It also runs quite well on my friends 9600N/P w/ 1.8a @ 2.4. Never froze or slow down. I used the latest Omegas at the time.

if you can get the game running,do a google search for multiplayer san andreas, they came out with an un-official release and you can play on line now it rocks..

San Andreas has issues with some ati cards, 9xxx series I believe. I had a 9800 pro and It would play fine then after 5-10 minutes my pc would just reboot. Works perfectly fine now on the same system with a 6800gt.
