A really silly thing I know, but if you want to put x °C and y °F in your post you can do so by holding down ALT and typing 0176 on the numeric keypad

Yep. It's called a character map if you want to search google for all of them. It's how my forum name is made. I copied a web page with the whole list and saved it to my drive in a text file.
Often I'm just plain too lazy to look up the cm code, so I just put a capital C next to the temp and everyone else gets it.
