Which one will have better Performance for gamming ???

1:1 Ratio @ DDR2 533 with 3-3-3-12 At 269 Mhz

Or

3:4 Ratio @ DD2 533 with 4-3-3-12 At 358Mhz

3:4 Ratio @ DD2 533 with 4-3-3-12 At 358Mhz

Now Overclocking is 3:4 Ratio @ DDR2 533 with 4-3-3-12 at 538 Mhz any good or is 1:1 Ratio Better.

I am just learning obout Overclocking.

Thank you for the help

They are both dividers so it won't matter that much especially on Intel platform. Higher CAS will degrade your performance by a little but higher clocks will make up for that.

Ok Is i undrestand correct for OverColcking I want 1:1 @ DDR2 533 with 3-3-3-12 instead of 3:4 Ratio @ DDR2 533 with 4-3-3-12 at 538. With 1:1 and a higher OC i will make do better than 3:4 Ratio @ DDR2 533 with 4-3-3-12.

Sorry I'm new at this how thing :-(

with 1:1 and high overclock will be better then 3:4

If you don't quite understand it, and just by reading what you guys were saying i got lost, i would check out the GREAT sticky in the memory

http://www.ocforums.com/showthread.php?t=257741

I read this and it makes a lot of good points and such...good luck.

You don't need to worry about dividers that much as they will barely effect your performance. Focus more on timings vs clocks then dividers.

Ok if i am Wrong please Correct Me.

I read the Sticky that ticktock123 posted by the Way Thank you.

I changed the Ratio from 1:1 ddr2 5300 @ 3-3-3-12 to 3:4 DDr2 5300 @ 4-3-3-12.

My times in Super PI At 1:1 were { the lowest } 34.406sec. Now at 3:4 at 4-3-3-12 the lowest is 33.985sec. So i see at 3:4 is better than 1:1. Am I correct.

I Had the N/B Strap CPU PSB set to 1066 &
my times in Super PI At 1:1 were { the lowest } 34.406sec.

Now i have my N/B Strap PSB set to 800 and my Super PI is 33.985sec

Do i want to stay at the N/B Strap CPU AS PSB1066 or N/B Strap CPU As PSB 800.

Here is a Quote from Abit for this Board.
The Fatal1ty AA8XE is built for speed. Intel’s latest 925XE chipset provides the backbone, featuring a 1066MHz front side bus. Abit's Fatal1ty AA8XE CPU Accelerator allows users to run their 800MHz FSB CPUs at a 1066MHz Front Side Bus

Now when i run it at 1066MHz Front Side Bus At DDR 5300 all i can choose is 1:1 or DDR2 400 { I thank it is this } 3:2

And A Couple of links about my board and the CPU Accelerator Technology Link # 1 (http://abit-usa.com/news/2004/20041109.php) & Link # 2 (http://abit-usa.com/news/2004/20041112.php)
