what does CAS2 do for mem benchmark?

should CAS2 increase the sandra's mem benchmark?
i enabled it in the BIOS and gotta install via 4-way interleave enabler cuz at cas2 it would always go to 2-way, then i ran the bench the results were almost the same if not exactly the same.
