Many years ago, in the 1990s (I think it was 1996, possibly 97), I bought a box of Chex cereal, but it came with a game. Chex Quest. It was a fun game even though it was just a marketing ploy to sell cereal, and for back then I thought it was very well made.
I found it on the Internet today, and thought I'd share it with you all.

Better watch out guys, you need at least a 233 MHz proccessor and 64 MB of RAM. :p
Do you have what it takes to stop the evil cereal eating Flemoids and save the day?
I'm not worthy! I'm not worthy!
now been updated with better graphics and support for 32-bit Windows!
I'll have to download this, before i went to eating hot meals for breakfast i was all over chex and the rest of the bunch. I've never seen this when i ate it back in the 90's, i feel so violated
A real classic, uses the Doom 1&2 engine, one of the finest and most realistic engines ever made!

OMFG. I almost passed out when I saw this thread. WHAT A GREAT GAME THAT WAS!! I still have the CD. :p
I don't know why, but the game gives me a serious case of motion sickness. I play FPS's now like HL2, CS:S, BF2, and so on. But none of those have ever made me feel sick. Weird.

Oh yees! Classic game.
AND! GET THIS!
It ran WONDERFULLY below spec. I would play it on my old 53Mhz OCed(Intel Overdrive baby!) 486! 32Mb of SIMM RAM.

i also remember this Aladdin-type game.... you rode on a magic carpet collecting these spheres and you made your castle bigger. i NEED that game if anyone knows what it's called... maybe Magic Carpet :D
yeah it's called Magic Carpet :) i remember there was an evil guy like you who had a magic carpet and he stole the spheres you needed and stuff. i couldn't get past that part. i remember the menu interface was SOOO cryptic though. nothing was labeled.

I busted out laughing seeing the title, it was a long running joke with Me/GoodFriend when I got this CD out of a box of Ceral many years ago. Yeah it ran on the Doom Engine .WAD Maps and you had like a spoon and some weird green goo gun hillarious. It was so bad it was good.

Ditto GerrFel! I remember it was the first FPS I ever played. It was Doom with different graphics, but the sounds and enemys were essentially the same. I still love the game to this day, and I even have parts 2 and 3. Part 2 even has teh Doom 2 ending in it!!!!!

It was a spork if i do remember correctly myself. i think my old box could never play it so i moved it to the BB gun shooting range, but i may have to download it later to see what sort of frames i can achieve.. lol

Remember boys and girls sporks are no fun to eat boogers with import DOOM chainsaw for maximum booger penetration. :)

Someone needs to remake this game with the Source engine or something, just think of how detailed those Flemoids would be.

you know, i was just thinking about this game the other day. so many hours spent killing flemoids :D i also ran it on a sub-spec machine- pentium 133 with 16mb RAM, oh yeah! and that was before i knew video cards existed, it was all about the integrated graphics.

I don't think there'd be much demand for it in the source engine, as awesome as that might be. To many CS players would be complaining that there's no multiplayer and no teamwork is needed. :(
