BF2 and Dual Core Patch

Does anyone know when there will be a dual core patch for Bf2? Has EA mentioned anything regarding support for dual cores. I think it would be awesome. I tried the COD 2 patch and I could notice a difference in gameplay right away.

No word from DICE/EA on anything dual core for BF2. Seems they are having enough trouble coding it is as. The new patch is coming out next week (soon), and it doesn't specifically address dual core, so it will probably be a while.
