I recently replaced the stock fan/heatsink on my 9800xt that ive had for the last couple years. I replaced it because the graphics card started crashing and then I noticed that the fan was no longer working. I replaced it with a Zalman Fatal1ty FS-V7. The installation was simple and seemed to be working just fine.
After installing everything worked fine and I even noticed a few degree drop. A day later I was playing Guild Wars on about the max settings, like I always have. All of a sudden the grapics went nuts and little boxes of different colors started showing up. It would go off and on and eventually I couldnt make out anything. Now It has gotten to the point where I cant get anything to show up when I reboot.
Anyone know if this is a serious hardware problem and if its fixable?
