I have been working on a system which has been experiencing repeated crashes while gaming. The specs are as follows:
Win XP
A8R-MVP (unsure of ram bieng used)
San Diego
ASUS x1800xl
Upon crashing, the computer usually displays a bluescreen saying that there is an error with the atkdisp.dll I have tried all different drivers (catalyst and omegas of various versions)
Does anyone have any advise for someone in this situation. I am running the same mobo but use a x800gto2 and have no problems. Should I RMA the video card or is it possible that the ram could be the problem?
