same as the 1900+, its just a chip that is maipulated to run at 1.7 ghz by default. It won't OC for crap due to the fact that it is already overclocked. But still it will perform great i imagine, butill wait till MAD actually makes a 1.7 ghz, 2000+ and oc that to actualy 2000mhz

What else did you expected, if XP is just MP overclocked ;-)

welcome to the forums
cant quite follow you on that opinion
please explain ... as i know there are only two MP models the 1.1 and the 1.2 i could be wrong ... but how can you overclock a 1.2 to 1.7 without making it get hot???

You're allmost right - MP was 1 and 1.2GHz clocked,
but it was Palomino ITSELF!

And this XP2000+ is not unconditionally 1800+ OC-ed - it can be
either 1500+ , or Mobile Athlon 4 1000, or any other Palomino, imho

Got it now?

but im not quite sure if you are right on this one
i would like a second opinion on this
