WinTv pvr installation problems?

When I try tio install mpeg decoder for Hauppauge Wintv-pvr I get message "Could not load DLL library c:\\WINDOWS\System32\hcwpnp32.dll The specifies module could not be found. What should I do?

If I try the tv I get "WinTv Initilization Error!~ A required component (ncwYVWnd.dll) is missing. Any ideas?

it seems when the WinTv application starts, it cannot find the driver files to initialize the card. Do a search of your drive to see if those 2 files you mentioned reside on your hard disk.

hcwpnp32.dll
ncwYVWnd.dll

If so, make sure they are in the correct directory:

c:\\WINDOWS\System32

IIRC, when installing the Happauge programs, I had to manually install the drivers for the card. Check the device manager to see if the actual hardware is installed. The viewer application is only half the battle.
