Even when the GeForce 3 Ti 500 is overclocked to 275/550, the Quantum3D Mercury Sub-System (Voodoo216XRACK) will spit this card out once and once more.
The Voodoo2 Specs
-------------------------
Enhanced 3DFX Voodoo2 @ 120MHz Core Defualt
96MB 100MHz 8X Pairs SD-Ram (19.2GB/s)
16 Enhanced Voodoo2 Chips in SLI
1920 Mega Pixel Fill Rate (120x16)
Capable of a steady 200fps (HD-((Rendering) Quality) @ 1024x768x16 with 4X FSAA Quake 3 Arena.

Now thats raw power!
Shows SLI is still an option for everyone. Man, I'd love to see Duel ATI R200 GPUs, since ATI is well of capable SLI format! Rage Fury Maxx should ring a bell for most!
What in the blue fu*k is that!? It looks like you'd need multiple AGP (or is it PCI?) ports to run it. It would hardly be worth taking up that many PCI ports on one videocard.
I wonder how the driver support is :D

My mobo only has 4 pci ports.. Hell I would never buy that...

Good God I have a single voodoo2 with my ATI Radeon under win2k which is great for Tribes 1..but man them things would hall (umm thier rear ends) against most cards in framerate!..Personaly I would build a pc to dedicate to V2's..man that looks sweet.

No wonder why. It looks to me that it was designed for heavy duty real time 3D rendering. Gaming, possibly, but mainly for graphics design. Where did it mention the Quake III performance? It would be interesting to see how it does compare, though
Also, where does it mention it uses a Voodoo core? I'm thinking that its strictly a CAD card

If ATI had made a redeon MAXX that would have been very cool. If i remember correctly the support is built into the drivers, they just never did it.

New chipsets will start to support SLI once again............within the next 12 months. Nvidia AND ATI are working on chipsets.
BTW that Voodoo card only puts out higher FPS in 16 bit color AND doesnt not support many hardware features that todays games use. SO I wouldnt say it out perfroms anything from a Geforce2 up.

hmm the only thing close to that i ever had was something going on like this
two pci cards, one plugged into the other via serial connection then you plug the monitor into the card with the two serial ports, hell i dont even know what you would call that but it would run Sin pretty good.
