looking for a good audio ripper that will rip audio from either dvd or dvd rips.

3 year bump. :)

The "data execution prevention (DEP)" stops DVD shrink from working. Is it safe to make an exception for this program?

Wow, holy ressurection...

Anyway, it should be fine to make an exception. I just downloaded from that link at Afterdawn and my server's antivirus didn't yell at me. Looks clean.

The DVD shrink rips the entire DVD well. Works great!
