I have a pair of Kingston Hyper X's that run at stock on 2-2-3-6-1T. Any way of getting tighter timings? Should I try overvolting it and burning it in to try and get tighter timings? or should I leave it at stock? Anyone used this memory before??
Yeah, bump up the voltage by 0.1 or once incriment in your bios and try to tighten your timings. I'm not sure, but I think that is BH-5 or 6? I think those are older sticks, but wait for the ram gurus to post. I'm probably wrong. If you cant tighten the timings then bump up the voltage another notch.

Over volting is never safe unless you do it under controlled environment.

i have like 5 fans on it... ands i found out theyre ch5
If it's CH-5 it should handle voltages all the way up to 3.5V without issues - that's for benching purposes. For 24/7 usage I wouldn't go above 3.3V just to be... err... "safe".
Timings for quick test:
Tcl: 2
Trcd: 2
Tras: 5
Trp: 2
Trc: 7
Trfc: 15
tREF: 1168 (166 7.8us) or 3864 (100mhz 1.95us)
Don't forget to report the results, I'm interested to hear what the old CH-5 is capable of.

I recently ran a 2x256MB set of Mushkin Level I 3500 on an MSI K8N Neo2 Plat w/Winchester 3200 at 249 with 2-2-2-6 timings, but it took 3.5v to get there.
Just couldn't get them to 250 and beyond point using BIOS tweaks only...maybe if I had played around with A64 Tweaker I might have gotten the last bit out of it.
Its funny to think that not too, too long ago hitting just under DDR500 speeds with tight timings was a big deal, these days the response is along the lines of "only DDR500?".

3.3??? My memory takes 2.6 and I know it's generally not recommended to more than .3 volts. it's a KHX3200AK2/1G

not true at all..
you can easily run 3.3 on those chips like i did mine and not fry your chips at all..
