Is the Core heatsink any good? I havnt seen anyone here talking about it...

I'd say it's pretty good. Radiate says it has a C/W of .23, which is better than most other heatsinks

I've read at a bunch of places that the core is really really overpriced, and doesn't really do that well on newer processors. But I've never used one personally so who knows....

I remember Frostytech did something on the Core...and they said it was crap. Impressive looking, but little else. Check it out here. (http://www.frostytech.com/articleview.cfm?articleID=699)

i got one ( dirt cheap ( it helps to know people))
i got it with the delta
it does a very good job i think
its heavy and bulky though so you might not want to get it unless you A) have room and B) have the 4 holes in your mobo so you can screw it in the back ( i dont trust the clips on a tower mabey on a desktop.
and yes its pretty cool looking just dont drop it on your foot.

They tested one at www.overclockers.com once. It did really poorly.
