Best Cpu To Use With My Kt7a Raid Ver1.0

I'M RUNNING A DURON 600 AT 950-1.GIG RIGHT NOW.
LOOKING TO UP GRADE, AND WANT TO HIT 1.5GIGS.
HAVE THE VERSION 1.0, KT7A-RAID BOARD.
LOOKING FOR RECOMMENDATIONS ON WHICH NEW CPU TO USE.

if you want the best cpu you get the fastest, just go for the bets one you can afford, you mobo will take it

The Thunderbirds are your only choice since the XPs are only supported by ver. 1.3 & later. I would go for a AYHJA0128/Y 1.4GHz. If you want to take a chance with a 1.GHz then look for a AYHJAR0125/Y, it's suppose to be one hell of a O/C.

Yup, 1.4 GHz TBird is the fastest chip you can drop in there. Look for 1.6 GHz out of it, if you're lucky.

I'm pretty sure I read that you can use a Morgon in any of the Kt7a's just not a Palimino.

i have v1.1 and my 1.2 MP werks,
the mp's are palies
and i get 1.5ghz easy on it
