Since no one seems to know of a mail server program for apache ... how about the one that comes in IIS ? WOuld i be able to run that along with apache ?
So i could have yourmail@thecrankycanuck.com. i need to be able to send mail and stuff from my tiny forum i am setting up plus the cool factor of having my own mail as well. How would i do this?

IIS doesnt have an email server. You would need Exchange for that, which isnt free. Not sure on any free ones though.

sigh ... well if i cant have mail then is there a way to stop this error ... sorry admin i am not promoting my site ... not that it is competition anyways, its just easier if someone goes there and see's what it does. then maybe they can tell me what code to change to make it stop.
Go to thecrankycanuck.com ... register and it will tell you that error line 236 debug blah blah .. you would think you are not registered but you actually are. How do i make it stop saying debug ?

Correct me if I'm wrong.
wouldn't smtp service just be outgoing mail though. Like just a server so that other people can send messeges but not recieve.
