Fry's has the drive for $120 no MIR's, but compusa on FRIDAY ONLY! has the drive for $79 after 2 MIR's and a instant rebate.. (not 100% sure yet, cant tell if the d**n thing in comps ad is sata ... im tryin to find out.)

here's the deal...

Pricematch todays fry's ad (15th) with the drive and get it for $120 at compusa (friday 6am to midnight), there you will also get the rebates, 1 for $30 (eRebate) and 1 for $40 which is MIR..

which means its $50 After rebate

arg, my compusa refuses to honor fry's pricematches if the have a 1 unit limit on the fry's ad. Even when it doesnt say a 1 unit limit the cashier will cite some stupid rule and then if i have the manager come over he always agrees with the cashier. Last time i was there I got a bunch of products, went to the checkout, then left with all the items still on the counter. It really ****ed them off when i came back in to laugh at them.

Good luck to anyone that can get them to honor the price match. Maybe Ill have my mom go. She is good at the yelling at employees until she gets what she wants thing. That seems to work miracles for employees who try to avoid giving us discounts for stuff.


CompUSSR is still too good of a name for them. Maybe they could be CompGermany and the employees could be Compazis and the manage could be CompHitler.

The frys' ad expires on THURSDAY at close of business so if this works it will need to be repeated in the Friday Fry's ad.
