Powertoys for XP

I recently loaded the TweakUI and Powertoys for XP and it seems to have disabled the support to show backgroudns of my choice. It is just a blank screen. Also, All of the pictures in My Pictures folder are grayed out, but still visible when I double-click on them. Is there any setting which I may have inadvertently set to do this or is this just the default of the program?

right click over the taskbar and select the background that way if you are using 4 different desktops you need to change them in the taskbar.

Thanks but I found out I needed at least one icon the desktop to have a picture. Now it's okay.
