those pics the cores look BRIGHT GREEN to me as durons ussually are, as for the L1s they look closed but i doubt they really are, its very hard to tell if they are without a magnifying glass on them.
Those look VERY green to me. Not blue at all. And from your last pic, I'd say it was locked.

How can u tell that the CPU is locked? Just look at the L3 briges u'll see a small gap betwin the dots, I don't see any gaps betwin the dots on the L1 briges.
If you have a magnifying glass just take a picture of the L1 briges again with the glass and post it...

Maybe they are blue, look at the thermal paste its also green and the background has a tint of green too, might be the way he took his photo or maybe not. As for the L1's i dont think its locked, they appear to be connected.
them L1's ARE closed..at least thats how they look to me..

I agree w/Angry. Those look connected to me. Look at the difference between the middle L3's and the L1's.

Thanks for the input guys. I just want to say that the L1 bridges are intact (crappy macro on my gigital camera) and there is blue stuff around the core. The green stuff is the thremal tape from the HSF. Anyone know if this is a copper Duron as the blue TBirds were copper and the greens were aluminium. Hopefully I'll be pulling an overclock on both these chips with water cooling before January - will only have enough cash for an upgrade then!! Thanks anyway guys, input is appreciated.:D
