im looking for a more powerful rheostat. the reglar 5watt ones that everyone sells, they rated at .70amps.. and i wanna get a delta 80cfm 80mm all so loud fan for my sink, and that fan is .90amps.. so i dont think the rheostat would like that high amps.. so i was wondering if anyone knew where i can find like a 10watt or so rheostat?
thanks

Woohoo! another convert! You still might want a rheostat on your radiator fan, as it needn't be on all teh time... Remember, water cooling in an adventure, and what's an adventure without a little danger...

Here's a better idea. Get an LM317 voltage regulator. The ones Radio Shack sells also have a circuit diagram on the back. You use a potentiometer (they look like rheostats) to control the voltage, but since the current is coming from the regulator instead of the pot., you can use a really cheap/low-rated pot. to control it.

Just be sure you put a heatsink on that regulator.
