Does anyone know of any radiators that could take a 172mm fan? I was thinking maybe a heater core. With a large enough case like the Lian-li PC-70 or the PC-626, a 90 degree duct could be made with the fan on top of the case, and the duct to the back of the case where the radiator is. Does anyone think that this would beat any other rad out there with this kind of setup?

the big moma might, but there arn't many left, you can get then at www.overclock-watercool.com, a heater core is probably the best option but you will need a very powerful pump becuase of the design, a better option would be a bong though

I prefer a closed loop enclosed in a case because it makes it more portable and easier to get to. I think an Eheim 1250 should be able to handle a heater core or oil cooler. Maybeee on of those nice motorcycle oil cooler would work. They have high fin density and flat tubes I think.
