I don't belive so. I think it was 8. If not, just ignore my earlier comment.

If you read the article, 8 isnt much different from the number of xp versions. In europe the governemnets decided they want their versions of windows to come with less and cost the same. go figure. There are about 8 vesions of xp too because of this.

Not all that surprising considering all of the different flavors they need to satisfy the people with 32-bit and 64-bit hardware

True, it is old news though. Heard this fall of last year.
