Need a Little Advice???

My friend wants to trade for my current western digital SATA 80gig hard drives (2 of them). I wanted to get 2 new ones for a new RAID setup. I am already planning on getting 2 80's, but I have a few questions.

1. Is SATA II worth getting over I.
2. What brand. (I've heard Hitachi is the best)
3. I am open to any suggestions

hitachis are the ones i would use, bc in past experience i had wd(failed 1), seagate(failed 3) and some other brand(failed 1) (wasnt hitachi) fail on me and i lost all my data, ive had hitachi in the past and had no complants

I have a 120gb 7200rpm 8mb cache Sata I hitachi hard drive, 2 years now, almost three and hasnt given me any trouble at all. I love it.
