two f@h consoles?

ok i had some trouble with the original fah console.It had some bad work in it's folder so i couldn't fold for many months.i tried downloading the new version but it only ran until i shut it down the first time.So with your help i deleted the work folder and at last it was up again,however i soon noticed ot was again the old version.with it still folding i checked my download accelerator files and found the new file,double clicked on it and had 2 versions running at the same time.apparently the new version has no folder and runs from there.it has been running almost 24/7 for some time but my stats havent changed.

well here is my question,can the new version be installed over the old somehow?should i delete the old program first, and redownload the new to install in the old folder?I would really hate to screw this up again,thanks

I am a little confused. Are you talking about version 1 then version 2 both running at the same time? Uninstall ver. 1 then run ver. 2. if not then try to clarify and someone will be of help. Or you could just uninstall both and start fresh with ver. 2. Sorry I couldn't be of more help. Fold on!!!

crap.i uninstalled the old version,came back here and clicked on the download link and i got the screensaver version(it auto downloaded)and of coarse i want the console!

i tried the front page and got a blank screen.does any have the link for the console version?

The graphic version works just as good as the console just make sure you turn off the screensaver under display properties.

can anyone tell me hoe to get this to work?

i have deleted the old version,installed the new(caused constant crashes)so i deleted that.used the downloaded 2.10 console but still no stats at all.i'm not doing for the recognition but i would like to track my comp. progress.it is still folding those thousand frame villins and no stats.

is there still a link to this new console?i still have to run it from its location (in my download list or temp folder) because if i delete it with no way to redownload i have to run the sreensaver and i cant afford all the crashes.

I'm still not sure what you're trying to do. The old console version is now called the text-only version. That may be what you're looking for.

Unlike the old one, you don't have to install the text-only version. All you have to do is create a folder for it somewhere, copy and paste 'F@H 2.0.exe' into it, and run it. It should prompt you for your name, team number, and then ask general questions about how you connect to the internet. The team number is 32 if you're are folding for Overclockers.com.

You should then download a new core. It will begin downloading it into the folder you created for 'F@H 2.0.exe.' Then it will donload work for you. At this point, you should close it, and then restart it. This is so since 2.0 is still buggy.

Once you've finished a WU, check either one of these sites for statistics
