Hey guys, I got some money (dunno how much until I check out water cooling), lol, but I think my ram might be slowing down my OC and my SETi times. I got 128 mb 133 SDRAM, no idea what brand. Now I might buy a 256 stick tomorrow or another day. Does it matter what brand? I don't really care about the speed difference (not much), but I want my 950 Duron over 1.2gigs (or atleast at 1170)

yes so I've heard, but you missed my question. With most RAM, say a standard stick of 256 mb Ram, will it interfere with my OC speeds?

I believe that the better the ram the higher you can get the FSB. There are other factors involved too. Like Motherboard, Power Supply, etc...

K, i just bought a nice stick of 256 mb ram (tripled my ram) I got 384 mb now. It was made by NEC. The weird thiing is that before I had to run my dram at 100%, but now I cann run at 133%...weird...
